Christy Consler

Professional Background
Christy Consler is the Founder and President of Consler Coaching & Consulting, Inc., an executive coaching and organizational consulting firm based in San Francisco , as well as the creator of the Professional Women's Dream Team leadership program for high potential women. Christy brings over 15 years of experience in marketing strategy in consumer packaged goods, banking, and technology to her business. She has worked with business leaders and teams in a variety of organizational settings, from Fortune 500 firms to entrepreneurial startups, including American Express, eBay, Gap, Lucasfilm, SAP, Synopsys, Williams-Sonoma, and many others.

Christy's most recent corporate post was as a Marketing Solutions Director for Carlson Marketing Group, where she headed up the Employee Marketing and Change Management Practice on the west coast. She began her career in financial services at Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase), where she was an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Lending group. Christy also worked in brand management at General Mills in the flagship Cheerios division, as well as in their New Ventures division, where she worked with a cross-functional team to develop comprehensive strategies to create new business platforms and enter new growth markets.

A graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania , Christy earned an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management. She earned a B.S. degree from Cornell University and received her coaching training from Coach University.

Personal Interests
Though she grew up in a very small town in upstate New York, Christy was bitten by the adventure bug early in her life. At 17, she lived in Austria for a year as an exchange student, learning German, traveling the continent, and developing a fascination with and appreciation for different cultures and ways of viewing the world. This experience was the foundation for her interest in coaching: by seeing the many ways that people create their personal realities and professional lives, it established her firm belief that everyone has a unique path to choose that suits their highest and best purpose. Christy's subsequent adventures have included Africa , Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and Central America . She now makes her home in San Francisco with her husband and their menagerie of pets.
